JANIS VETSCH - FREELANCE PRODUCT & VISUAL DESIGNER
With a passion for socially conscious design I aim to provoke dialogue about community challenges.
It all started six years ago when I moved from Switzerland to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia.
I have always been fascinated by the communities around us and intrigued by what enables them to thrive. Hence I focused my studies on psychology and public health. During my final year, I discovered health & impact design at the intersection of my passion for graphic design and social action.
This discovery motivated me to attend to focus on user-centric design solutions that align organization's business goals and community needs.
Since then I have had the privilege to work with talented social impact nerds, such as and , to evoke sustainable change.
Through in-depth discovery and research, I develop product & content strategies that enhance engagement and encourage retention.
I combine human-centered design principles with compelling identity systems to develop relatable and trustworthy brand recognition.
By putting the user first, I create seamless and intuitive product experiences that empower users and organizations.
